An Evening with Yadin Gellman

  • Yadin Gellman grew up in Jerusalem during the second Intifada. The difficult experiences he endured, led him to become a combat soldier in the IDF's elite "Sayeret Matkal" unit. Yadin fought bravely in many battles and special operations until 2019 when he left the army and pursued a career in acting.

On October 7, 2023 during the Hamas massacre on Simchas Torah, Yadin was called as a reserves combat commander to rescue his fellow citizens and battle the terrorist who invaded his homeland. He fought vigorously in Kibbutz Kfar Aza and Kibbutz Be'eri but after 10 hours of intense fighting, Yadin and his friend were mortally injured but he pushed forward and survived.

Ever since recovering, Yadin's passion and mission has been to retell his story and to unveil the harsh reality of that fateful day.
